I was privileged to spend a few days in Amsterdam on business.
Yes, there are windmills in the countryside.
There were bicycles everywhere, even though it was below freezing.
The architecture is beautiful, with buildings that are hundreds of years old.
We went to an outdoor market.
As you can see, it was very cold outside.
Kurt had to buy a hat and scarf. Ja, das ist der dorkenhatt. Actually, this sort of dorky hat is pretty common in Amsterdam.

We visited the Heineken Brewery. Here is Kurt, enjoying the brewing vat.
We visited the Van Gogh museum, but they didn't allow me to take any pictures. :( Even so, seeing 200 Van Gogh paintings was breathtaking.
